The Sedona Arts Center is proud to present special art exhibits and events each year. These special events give artists an opportunity to display and sell their work in a supportive atmosphere. Below you will find a highlighted list of the upcoming activities.

Exhibits and Events

Fine Art Gallery, Open Daily from 10 to 5 p.m.
Opening Receptions for our month-long exhibits – featuring five to seven local member artists – are held the First Friday of every month, 5 to 8 p.m. The receptions are free and open to the public. Meet the featured artists, enjoy a nice glass of wine, chat with fellow art lovers, and find that perfect gift of art for someone you love.

Community Exhibition Art Gallery
The new gallery is available for private exhibitions. Call the Sedona Arts Center (928) 282-3809 or toll free (888) 954-4442 for availability, scheduling, and rental agreements.

SEDONA PLEIN AIR FESTIVAL is a celebration of Sedona's extraordinary beauty as seen through the eyes of 30 of the finest plein air painters in the country. The weeklong festival will feature these painters all over town - on the streets, trailheads, creeks and vistas - capturing the beauty of the Sedona area on canvas. "En plein air," French for "in the open air," is a spontaneous art form with artists creating outdoors, responding to the immediacy of the moment and reflecting the excitement of the changing light, weather conditions and deepening shadows on canvas.

The Sedona Arts Center would like to thank the 26 award-winning professional artists who came from around the country and the four emerging artists from Arizona for their participation in the 4th Annual Sedona Plein Air Festival (October 19-26, 2008).
