Gina DeLorenzi
 Originally from Canada, Gina DeLorenzi began making quilts in 1997. She was still following traditional methods at that time using available fabrics such as broadcloths and calico. Soon she began to devour books on quilting and its history analyzing the various techniques and historical features of quilting. Gina’s talent and imagination grew and she began to manipulate traditional patterns creating more complex designs using more sophisticated patterns. Later she began to study to subtleties of color and the art of dyeing her own cloth. One can look at her work and see an artist who is constantly exploring the endless range of color and types of fabric and who is constantly translating her personal growth into her spectacular creations.
