Lynn Jekel
Growing
up with parents who were both Disney artists,
Lynn was admitted to Chouinard Art School, now
California Institute of the Arts, at age 20 and
later earned her degree from San Francisco State
University with dual fine art and textile art
majors. She taught textile arts for years and
holds a lifetime California Community College
credential in Fine and Applied Arts. After
retiring to Sedona, Lynn was introduced to
pastels by S.A.C. Instructor Gretchen Lopez.
With this medium her focus on form has exploded
into color. |
