Marge Chapman
Marge Chapman began developing her painting talent in Southern California in the early 1970’s studying with such international artists as Sergi
Bongart, Joyce Pike and Ted Goerschner. After moving to Sedona in 1983, she continued to study with other well known artists. Marge is inspired by the beauty of the Southwest, where landscapes can be soft and subtle, yet dramatic and intense. When painting in oils and pastels, she uses soft but bright colors to create a loose style of landscape. She likes to blend impressionism and realism using bold colors to produce paintings that surpass either style. Marge does most of her work outdoors on location.
