Pamela Jekel
After publishing twelve novels and dealing with
twenty years of deadlines, Pamela Jekel turned
to an old love, painting in watercolor and oils
which she learned from her father, watercolorist
William Jekel. Her vibrantly colored art blends
classical realism with suggested form. She
recently won "Best Oil in Show" at the Honors
Show in St. Augustine, Florida, "Best in Show"
at the People's Choice Awards Art Show in
Daytona Beach, Florida, and was selected for a
one-woman show of 50 paintings for the Fisher
Foundation for Alzheimer's Research in New York.
