Patricia Steele
A
native of Michigan, Patricia Steele
moved to Arizona in the early 1970’s
where she earned a Bachelor of Fine
Arts Degree from Arizona State
University. After working for many
years as an advertising and commercial
photographer, she turned her attention
to nature photography and explored
numerous national parks and wildlife
refuges with her camera. Combining her
vast inventory of wildlife subjects
with her artistic ability, Patricia
has created realistic and compelling
likenesses of American wildlife
rendered in colored pencil. She and
her husband live in Scottsdale with
their backyard host to bobcats,
coyotes, and Gamble’s quail, many of
which have become subjects of her
drawings. |
