Susan Moody
Calling herself an emerging artist, Susan Moody
nevertheless won the top honor, "Best of Show,"
at the March 2007 Sedona Arts Center Members
Show with a spectacular fused-glass mirror.
Susan, a former banking executive, took her
first class, "Outdoor Mosaics," in November
2004, followed that with six others at S.A.C.,
then, in 2006, took classes at the Las Vegas
Glass Expo, the Delphi Glass Creativity Center
in Lansing, MI, and at Hot Glass Horizons in
Portland, OR studying glass cutting, creating
relief-style mosaics, and fusing with dichroic
glass, art glass tiles, glass frit, iridescent
glass, and liquid stringer medium.
