The Art Experience

The Art Experience program is designed to encourage everyone to become actively engaged in the arts - as an artist or one who simply enjoys art. Art Experiences will be scheduled on an on-going basis. The events and workshops will typically be half-day or full-day in length, often scheduled on weekends. They are available to everyone and - very affordable! Each new art experience will be announced through e-blasts to all newsletter subscribers. If you are not a subscriber, click here to sign up today!

Experiences are offered in three categories:

Art Appreciation Events - Develop a greater appreciation and deeper understanding of a variety of art forms, mediums, styles, and artists through art excursions, guest speakers, exhibits and more.

Introductory Art Workshops - Take your first step into the world of art - as the artist. Try your hand at a new medium or style. Enjoy one or two-day workshops to test the waters.

Artistic Development Opportunities - The path of the developing artist from novice to emerging to professional requires a skill set that is not always easily obtained. Let us help you! Learn from those who have walked the path before you through presentations by guest speakers, workshops, open studios and other diverse experiences.

The result is a default compromise - a hodge podge of furniture and items which each have their own history but are not really YOU.

The solution is to know thyself! This Free Art Experience sets you on the path. Scottsdale interior designer, Jeannie Beal Marini, has drawn on an extensive career in interior design and created "My Design Zone" workshops. Jeannie has created a unique 'design' deck of cards that enables you to identify your unique preferences in minutes. Couples are excited to learn their common ground and the process becomes a guide for decision-making.
