Let the Celebration Begin!

The Arts Center Celebrates 50 Years
of Service to the Arts Community
Lancaster
The arts have played an important role in Sedona's history, with the Sedona Arts Center leading the way for 50 years. Our founders' dream was to provide a place where artists could work and teach together. That dream gave birth to the Sedona Arts Center (first known as Canyon Kiva).

Since the official opening in April, 1958, arts education has been at the center of our mission.  Classes, workshops and field expeditions are led by award-winning artists, and offered to students of all levels and experience. Our gallery exhibitions provide a showcase for member artists - both professional and emerging; while our noteworthy art events draw visitors from around the world - all contributing to the promotion of Sedona as an important arts destination.

It is our heartfelt desire to continue contributing to the arts community of Sedona for another 50 years.  We are happy that our wonderful members, our Board of Directors, our volunteers, and our staff are on this journey with us!
