Edie Nelson's inspiration comes from the mysterious landscape of the Southwest and whisperings from the ancient people who once inhabited it. The images she works with usually derive from personal meditation and her dialogue with the materials. Recycled items and inspiring found objects often find their way into her art as they did with "Spirit Pony".
