Eugenia Everett was considered by many to be "Sedona's Living Treasure." Eugenia had been doing sculpture and teaching others sculpture for most of her life. During the 1930’s she was deemed “the most creative sculptress in southern California” by the Los Angeles Times and she continued to create art and win contests until she moved to Sedona in 1971. She lived, worked, and taught at the Sedona Arts Center for the rest of her life.
